Greenwood Ave. created 2 collaborative pieces, launching at Dreamland Festival’s Main Event on November 4, 2023. Dreamland Festival is the vision of Tulsa artist, entrepreneur, and community leader Steph Simon. Established in 2016 as World Culture Music Festival, the festival was renamed after Williams Dreamland Theater in 2022. The festival is the largest hip-hop-focused festival in the heartland; an annual celebration of music, art, and film in downtown Tulsa.

Our “I Am The Dream” sweatshirt takes inspiration from Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech and posters from his last march on Beale St. As a call-back to an original Greenwood Ave. design, the “Dreamland” long sleeve features the historic Williams Dreamland Theater stamped on the back. We wanted these pieces to highlight the inspiration of Tulsa’s history and its impact on the music, art, and film that has come out of it.
