Greenwood Ave. Magazine No. 2 is the food edition, featuring Black chefs across the country. The main feature of the magazine is Black Chef Table, led by Marcus Davis and Keisha Griggs. Black Chef Table is a curated dinner series based in Houston. They provide a platform for chefs to gain experience and illustrate their cultural backgrounds through their menus.

Our team traveled to Houston, created shoot concepts for the Black Chef Table founders and resident chefs, sourced location and props, and worked with Charlotte photographer, Emily Lyons-Wood, to execute the vision. It was only fitting to create a more intimate dinner setting for the founders of Black Chef Table because they manage to create that feeling in a large restaurant. For the featured chefs, we took to the restaurant to display them and their dishes as authentically as possible.
